Will a tailgate off a 2022 Toyota Tacoma fit on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma?

2022 and 2023 model tailgates are the same as the bed did not change.

What model/trim is the tailgate your wanting to take off the 22 and what is the model of the 2023 youre wanting to put it on?

 

Honestly I'm just trying to get an idea for my options. Some scumbag stole the tailgate off my 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD-OffRoad and now I'm searching around on the internet trying to find one. What year/make/models have compatible tailgates?

 

AFAIK all tailgates within a generation interchange. So for you. 16-23

There may be badging differences due to trims and equipment, but those remove or add easily

Why not let your insurance handle it?

And use some security tricks you can find here for your next one. As well as looking into protection for your catalytic converter
