Forgot to come back and say fit and finish was excellent. Very nice work for $15.

No issues.....she was very tight but but it was ok. Im actually thinking about putting thread lock on it in case. If I ever ned to replace I can cut it or break it and replace but it will deter even more...

With any threadlocker I've ever used, you won't have to cut it or break it...and neither will anyone else. It holds ok, but a good breaker bar will remove the bolt, threadlocker or not.

Absolutely. It's better than nothing, for sure...just didn't want you to have a false sense of security...or a false sense of more security than you'll actually have.

The problem is that the $100 tailgate (not much value as a used item for resale) has a $900 camera in it...makes it very appealing to your local.......................ummm...."merchandise redistributors".

I am currently using a band clamp but ordered a bracket from the OP. I think you can install the bracket over the band clamp for maximum tweaker entertainment. I'll post back if it they both fit at the same time or not.
