    Ended up welding a nut over the oem screw, the heat loosened it and unbolted freely.

    These look awesome. Definitely would’ve bought one if I didn’t already buy one of those expensive locks. Just wanted to say good job, looks great!:thumbsup:

    Suggestion: also sell a security t-bolt setup to keep the tailgate support cables from being removed- that with your bracket would make the tailgate really secure if someone forgets to lock it.

    I just got 3 parts for mine, a large washer and a spacer to fit on the bolt behind the washer so the cable eye rotates on it when the bolt is tightened up. It keeps the support cables from being removed.
