    Does anyone have any advise for removing the stock bolt to install the anti-theft device? I tried the following
    1) heated the bolt with a map torch and tried a breaker bar, the torx bolt thread stripped out
    2) drilled a hole in the bolt and tried tapping it out, the tap snapped leaving the tap head stuck in the bolt
    Any suggestions on what to try next would be appreciated!

    Use a punch that fits in the screw and give it a couple of good blows with the hammer, it should come out.
    Never use a tap to extract something, they will always break, there not designed for that.

    The torx bolt head is completely stripped out and the hardened steel tap bit is broken off in the bolt. How do I turn the bolt is the problem I need to solve.

    Use a cut off wheel and cut a slot down the middle fairly deep, use a chisel to break the head off, once the head breaks off the remaining screw will come right out.
