    Canopy/Topper
    Hi all!

I hike groups of dogs for work, I have a canopy/topper on the bed and dogs will go in there for transport. (Model is 24 trd sport 6ft bed)
The only issue I’m having is with dogs attempting to jump prematurely. They’re starting to scratch the back of the tailgate. I’ve looked at getting a mtn bike cover to prevent this, but from what I’ve read you can’t close the topper glass window, which is necessary to keep dogs secured.

Does anyone have ideas to protect my paint job? I don’t care if it’s semi-permanent or difficult to remove regularly as long as the top can close.
Not interested in getting it wrapped, which I’m not sure would help my situation either.

    thanks for your input!

There's the pain protection films that could be applied. Though it's basically really thick clear vinyl. So "I don't want to wrap it" could still apply.
