I’m not blaming the bed stiffeners, just curious if I did it wrong? Or how do I fix it? Because it wasn’t there beforehand.

When I installed the stiffeners, the right side (now with a gap) was fine. It lined up squared with the stiffeners. The one on the left (now too tight) seemed like it was bowed outward because the bed stiffeners seemed more squared than the bed. I’m assuming they ended up pulling the bed making it properly squared but now it’s creating a gap on the opposite end?

I don’t know if that made any sense but here’s some pics. Any ideas on how to fix it? Am i able to pull the tailgate? It’s somewhat harder to close the tailgate too. 6B408C9F-FDFC-4D57-AA22-863975B0CFF1.jpgB68D46E7-78E5-4EA6-A3C0-557A9D2294F6.jpg

Loosen up the left side bolts into the bed and push it out somewhat then retighten.

It’s not that bad as long as the tailgate closes and doesn’t rub.

Thanks I’ll give it a shot!
If it’s persists should I just keep the left side a little looser than the right?

It really won’t matter and only you will notice. Mine is off slightly on each side with stiffeners.

Yeah, I suppose that’s true. I guess I didn’t expect to go from no gap to creating a gap.
