i noticed while driving today looking at my rear view, there is an uneven gap between the two sides of my tailgate. Anyone else tailgate like this?

I just picked up my trd pro Friday so I’m curious if this is normal for trucks (my first truck) or if I should bring this up to the dealership.

Yes, take it back to dealership. Is this a new truck? Check your bumper as well.

My 2019 tailgate gap is maybe 1/4" max on each side. Something is off with yours.

My advice don't take it back, my 2017 was a little worse then yours and thy took a pry bar to it. Scratched it up and barely made any difference in the gap.

Man, that's some shoddy QC. If not factory, then dealer prep should have caught it.

Edit: Second look, is it closed & latched? Sumpin' don't look right...

Grab the top of it, and yank it that direction. If that doesn't move it, go look at others on the lot. If they're the same...Live with it. If they're all much better than yours...Take it in.
