    does anyone know of the best place to find the tailgate handle that has the hole for the back up cam, that will fit an 08

    I believe it's Pop N'Lock, they make a lockable handle which is designed to work with the camera on the 09's so that would probably be your best bet

    well i have an 08 and im gonna mount a cam for my eclipse head unit. but i need the handle that has the camera cut out. btw i'm also gonn do the front left and right cameras

    pop n lock fits the camera great. you just have adjust the wire to go to the other side of the handle. but a few zip ties will fix that problem.

    They have backup cameras that mount to your license plate bolts....of course you'd need anti-theft bolts tho.

    I don't think anyone makes a key lockable one and power together yet, other folks on here have talked about pop n lock making one like that and supposed to ship by mid year. Even if the PL5300 and
    $95 PL8521 Pop & Lock – Power Tailgate Lock for Toyota Tacoma, Fits Models 2005 to 2015 (PL8521)
    PL8521 would have fit, without major mods, they wouldn't be able to unlock each other, one is a key that disables the lever and the power one jams the pivot arm of the handle.
