Tailgate hinge bushing failure

Yes, my corner tailgate got bent when the bushing broke and the tailgate just dropped open. I would hold your tailgate when you open it and gradually lower it down, so it doesn't drop open suddenly on its own and bend the corner part of the tailgate. Such a bummer. Seems like the new trucks are built cheap.
