    Hey guys, quick question :)

I’m thinking about getting some black tailgate inserts for my truck. My only worry is that if I ever want to take them off that it might be an issue.

Has anyone had any experience with taking the inserts off?

You referring to these? I don't think it would be an issue taking them off. Might need to heat them up a little and use rubbing alcohol or goo-gone.

They come off the same as any sticker....heat gun, dental floss/fishing line, goo gone, and patience.

I've taken them off. No issue.

A buddy of mine has a Ford F-150 and he put these (obviously NOT T-A-C-O-M-A) on his tailgate, but now he's a bit concerned about going through automatic car washes. Do you, @SirPuck, know?

If anyone else knows, please let me know.

    Thanks!

I have them on my Tacoma and have not had an issue through car washes and I wash it regularly.

Edit: That was also one of my concerns getting them but a lot of people I spoke with had had theirs on for years with no issues.

Just installed mine last week. Scared that they won’t hold long. Hopefully they last. For $20, I took the risk
