Tailgate issue please help

    on my 05 the bottom of the tailgate pivts are loose and worn!!1 seems like there all like that. the ones ive checked all seem to be really loose you notice it when its down and you tug on it slops around alot!!!! i noticed the bushings are replaceable you have to but the hinge assy does this correct the issue or are they all really loose? thanks

    maybe the slop is just because the tailgate it removable with the slot on the right side is giving the play?

    getting there....
    replacing those bushings should do the trick, and when you do so........put a little anti-seize around them...it will keep them lubricated for a while. alos.....snug up any loose bolts around that area.
