    Hey Folks,

Got out into the bush and my tailgate handle broke. It was a real PIA to get into the back with the tailgate up and tonneau cover down. I eventually got in but kinda wrecked the springs on my tonneau cover latches. Anyway... I found the unlatching mechanism (sorry don't know proper names) was popping out of place. I thought I'd share my fix/hack in case anyone else runs into trouble. Although I'm sure there are better ideas out there.

I drilled two holes on the right side so I could install a bit of allround to keep the right side of the unlatching mechanism from popping out. Then I ran some garden wire down the center spindle, I had to drill a small hole through the bottom socket. Tightened it all up and everything seems to be holding into place.

Guess I'll see how it holds before I order a new replacement latch handle. So far so good...
