image.jpg I'm a new user so I'm trying this out!

Need feedback from y'all. Only those who have answers not questionable answers :)

I want to get a tailgate lock cause I have a folding tonneau cover that doesnt lock so the tailgate needs a lock to keep things in the bed without people getting to them..

So I have a 2012 with a backup rear view camera and I don't want to lose it but I need a lock on the tailgate!!

Is it possible? If so how much y'all think it's worth? Anything?

I didn't want the power lock version.

Seems flimsier than OEM, but has held up so far, down to -20s *C

You want a warranty, on a Pop N Lock, ONLY buy from their internet site or an authorized dealer.

I have automatic lock without key, from Dynolock. Installed for two years with harsh winters, works great !
Uses the original handle, camera stays at the same place. Just ad the locking mechanism in the gate with the instructions, run the wire up front, run in the cab. And connect it to existing wiring for 4 door unlock. But I'm only thinking about this right now. Didn't look at your truck. It's only good if you have power locks to begin with.
