    anyone buy an aftermarket locking tailgate handle for gen 1? I’m trying to decide what to do. I don’t see anything but the poplock brand when I google but surely there are others right? Are they simple to install or tricky?

    I believe that's the only brand available. If you can change your own oil, you can install the lock. Some phillip screw and a few 10mm nut.
