Tailgate Lock?

    Locks should be lubed with a tiny bit of graphite.

    Just got done installing it. Not super impressed. Cheap brittle ABS plastic and when you put the handle together with the Pop & Lock, it doesn't lock into place. It is still loose until you bolt the oem handle assembly to the tailgate with the two 10mm bolts.

    It could actually be a decent product if they used better materials and had better molds and therefore fitment.

    $52 on Amazon. I think I'd be more reasonable with the quality if it was $30 but oh well. I'll keep it. I'd give it a "meh" score as there aren't alternatives. Hopefully it won't break in the IL winters.

    it is a theft "deterrent" not a bullet proof alarm. whatever makes it less appealing is the key point :)
