I bought a Dynolock (keyless) last spring and I have been impressed with it thus far. Install took about 2 hours, I used solder instead of vampire clips on the connections and had to look up the wiring schematic online to be sure i was using the right wire but simple to install.

Might want to read through this post, lots of discussion there on the matter

On a side note, the pin that connects the actuator to the lock broke on mine in the winter, I took a picture and emailed Dynolock and they had a replacement sent to me within the week. Great service.

I also have a dynolock and am having good luck with it. Check the other postings, it seems there are two, either the dynolockor the pop n lock. it's my understanding they both work with the keyfob

I also put in a dyno lock about a year ago and love it,no issues what so ever, and jims a good guy. I also did the tail gate mod so nobody could steal it.

Electric Dynolock tailgate, TrailGear Slides, , 285/75-16 Yoko Geolanders on Wheelers Type B, SAW 2.0 front and back, Camburg b/j UCA, 1.5" AAL, Ubolt flip, ARB bump.
I got the dyno lock, great product, opens off the second click of the key fob.

BUT if you put one of these on I highly reccomend doing the 'lock beep off' mod! It's like turn key on, then off, then push a button... or something easy, search for it on the forum.I say this because I open my tailgate 20 times a day and all the beeping gets super annoying.

Also, add a plug in the wiring where it comes out of the tailgate to make sure you can remover the tailgate if you need to... missed that one myself until I wen to take off the tailgate.

Other than that it' a great product, like I said I lock/unlock that thing about 100+ times a week and have never had a problem in a year now.

The lock beep came on your truck or the dynolock? I wasn't aware of any tacomas having a beep on lock... but it could be a new/trd feature
