Just so you know. I just got the email notification this morning saying they were in stock. So unless you just had not sent them you have some kind of delay in notifications.

I know the fortin auto starts can be programmed for lock/unlock/lock for start. Not sure if dei can. If so that would solve your issue.

 

Received my B- Harness a couple days ago. When I get rid of this bad Cold I’ll finish my install. Thanks DSIM for the quick shipping

Looking forward to seeing everyones finished installs especially those who have been waiting for b-harness awhile.

4 left for now! Have not had much time to catch up on inventory, planning on building some more hopefully next week. Got material, low on time however.

 

@DSIM just curious if you’ve been able to work on a solution for MT guys for the B harness? Also curious about if the 3x unlock to open could be re programmed to another sequence as that would interfere with my future remote start.

Remote start works on 3 locks this works on 3 unlocks

 

Typically 3x unlock will shut the veh off.

 

@DSIM Wonder if the E- Brake signal wire would work for the Manual Trans. Just like the Park signal will work out for the Automatic trans.

 

Anyone tried taping your unlock button on your door switch 3 times? It will open the tailgate also just the same as using the keyfob. I also noticed that the 3 presses on the keyfob needs to be without too much of a pause, or it doesnt open the tailgate.

 

As long as that wire is 12V when the ebrake is engaged it will work. Ill need to do some digging in the diagrams to find the right wire. Ill Ill if I can find some time tomorrow to search.

 

Gonna do some digging. As far as the alternate sequence goes. I wont be able to do anything off of a hold of unlock I know that. Cant do something like lock unlock lock because there is a pulldown resistor on the board off the io pin. Meaning when not 12v it reads 0v. To eliminate noise causing false positives. Meaning wont be able to trigger ground signal off of unlock wire (during unlock event this wire is ground, during lock its +12v). So throws that option out. Only option I really have is play with count.

 

Finally found the time to finish the tailgate opener install. Was able to tuck everything into the passenger side panel.

 

Everything works , but it works fine on four clicks not three. Removed the bump stops to help the tailgate drop easer. Switch works great.

 

Have any videos of your tail gate opener working ?

 

I ‘ll se if I can do that today. Side note, I didn’t change the location of the actuator on the mounting bracket. Just removed the rubber bump stops
