I believe the disable function was added to prevent valet/mechanics etc. from repeatedly hitting the button on the remote. It's kind of acting like its disabled.

It may have been shipped in the disabled mode. May have to ask DSIM what pins to jumper for 10 seconds to enable it again.

Correct Enable/disable will only work with the push button (B harness)

Check actuator wires. Blue goes to black of the tharness (ground), green goes to purple of the a-harness. Make sure to follow the diagram.

Actually looked at the picture again looks like you have it right. The module ships enabled. If you unplug aharness and replug it resets the module back to factory (enabled). Can you hear the relay click when 3x unlock? Ill pm you my cell number for support, well get it figured out.

Working on my install now. I reviewed the wiring in the cab twice and I think it is correct. The issue I'm seeing is the only actuator that seems to be doing anything is the gate latch release actuator. The locking actuator dont appear to be functioning. I'm wondering if I need to swap the connections in the tailgate? Not sure that would resolve it, but maybe it's part of the issue.

When the latch release actuator functions, it dont appear to be moving enough because it doesn't move the release far enough to release the latch...might just be an adjustment needed there.

Getting really hot out, so might resume later.

Swapping the tailgate wires worked for that issue. Now lock and unlock work as designed. The tailgate release is also moving, but I think it needs some adjustment to release the latch. More updates to come..

Can you post a photo how it’s set up on the latch actuator ?

Remove the bed rubber stops to see if it drops with them removed.

Double-check the actuator wires to match the diagram correctly. The integrated harness in KTJOs package will have two sets of blue/green wires. My guess is those may have gotten mixed up. For the opening actuator (Green Actuator Wire Goes to Purple Module Wire AND Blue Actuator Wire Goes to Black T-Harness Wire {Ground}). For locking actuator (Green goes to the green of the t-harness AND Blue goes to Blue of the t-harness). My guess is those got mixed matched.

But thats good to hear that the module seems to be working properly for the 3x unlock. As far as not opening successfully, you may have to play with the latches on the body side. If you loosen them they are on a slotted hole and can be adjusted.

Report back and let me know!

If you remove the two rubbers for the tailgate on the bed and it opens and drops like normal . The way I fixed this was to take a fresh razor blade and trim off a 1/8 and re install the rubber stops .

So, got to look at this again, and before the latch release was moving, but not enough. Now, not sure what changed but it's not moving at all. I checked with a volt meter and I dont see any power on the third click. I do still have power at the lock (looks like 5 volt, but it is so fast it's hard to tell for sure). Proves my meter is working. I did unplug and reply the DSIM module (correct orientation) and still no dice. Are there any fuses I should check? I also checked in the cab and no power for those wires there either.
    What can/should I check next?

I'm experiencing the same issue as I previously posted. I PMd with DSIM and he asked me to check the below items. Everything checked out. Waiting to hear back for next steps.

Step 1 : pop open the enclosure. Check and make sure there is a red led on indicating that the arduino board is on.
Step 2: Unplug A-Harness. Led should turn off.
Step 3: Plug it back in to reset the module. Led should be on.
Step 4: Press unlock 3 times. There should be another led on the arduino that should blink with each unlock press.
One more thing try pressing unlock 4 times or more and see if that does it

Sorry to hear you are having issues also...hopefully its resolved soon for you.
    Thanks for the pointers!!
    Step 1 was normal
    Step 2 was as expected
    Step 3 all good
Step 4.. on the first press no additional lights, but on press 2 and 3 the Tx light came on. I pressed it 4 times (3 blinks) and it SOUNDED like it may have tried (I still need some adjustment) but I couldn't recreate that when I did the same 4 press test when at tailgate watching.

Maybe that will give some insight for troubleshooting :)

    Thx again!!

Interesting you say it sounded like it may have tried once but could not reproduce. I had the same thing happen but the tailgate was up so I wasn't sure. I dropped it to get eyes on it and retried but nada.

Spit balling here but could any of the vehicle lock settings impact behavior?

DSIM will get things figured out!
