Yep, I agree... I'm sure it will be worked out shortly :)
I think when my tailgate open actuator "seemed" to work the first time was because I had the wires in the gate going g to incorrect actuator.

Also, for DSIM to validate, here is a pic of my wiring. 20190902_172557.jpg

@SoCalTecHead Need to adjust your unlock settings in your radio else it will remain at 4 clicks. The rest should be just adjustment or potentially a faulty actuator.

Make sure your radio matches these settings to get to 3x unlock and lets go from there.

@horntac1 I was about to respond to your pm but makes more sense here now. If you followed all the steps and you heard the relay click then the module is working. Check your actuator wires and make sure you didnt mix match them similar to @SoCalTecHead

    Side note:
Im gonna start up a FAQ/troubleshooting post to document some of these posts for the next guy.

    Thanks Daniel,
I was just looking at the radio settings after
@horntac1 suggested vehicle lock related being a possibility. I made the changes you suggested and unplugged/ replugged the DSIM module and still no go. I did watch the LEDs and the TX does now light on first press. I have my volt meter plugged in but still not seeing any voltage at tailgate release actuator. You mentioned feeling a relay click on the module in you other post, but I dont feel that on the DSIM module.
Thanks for your time on this... it is Labor day... tomorrow is another day my friend...enjoy.

At the actuator I have blue to blue and green to green. On the other end I have green to module purple and blue to t-harness black.

If the relay doesnt click but the tx pins are blinking accordingly then I think the output pin on the arduino failed. This happened to me once when I reversed my wires by accident (Ground to Positive, Positive to Ground). Im gonna pm you tomorrow to dive deeper. Worst case ill ship you out a new arduino.

Check that at the tharness that the green of the open actuator is connected to purple. And that the blue of the open actuator is connected to ground. If you accidently have the blue of the open actuator connected to blue of tharness then you will only have ground for a split second.

If the relay is clicking then the module is doing its job which is leading me to think its got to be something related to those actuator wires. The more I think of it this could be @SoCalTecHead s issue as well and could have cause a short.

Ill get with you both tomorrow and we can troubleshoot some more.

    Thanks for being patient guys!

The wiring was done as shown in the wiring diagram. I used the set of wires that were marked with white for the opener so there was no confusion which were which at the harness end. I triple checked all of my wiring prior to plugging the T-harness in. Are you seeing something in my pics that don't look correct?

I appreciate all of the help!

I revised my diagram on post #2 to show the color code of the connectors on KTJO's integrated harness. (2 blue connectors and 2 red). I also added some troubleshooting to post 3 that I will continually build up as issues arise.

Looking back at the pictures it looks like it is right. I can't think of anything else it could be other than the actuator wires. The relay clicks and send power down the purple wire. I am confident its not the module if that relay clicks. Double check the bullet connections (circled below) that there is solid contact. Then I'd pull out a meter and start at the purple wire and see if it is at 12v when the relay clicks. Work your all the way back to the actuator and test each connection.

Now for yours if you could run through the trouble shooting steps one more time and double/triple-confirm that that relay does not click. Steps outlined in post #3. A video of the sequence would be ideal so I can watch along.

Purple/Black will be 12V for 2 Seconds while the relay is engaged. Did you measure while the relay was clicked?

I held the meter leads in the harness during the entire process for each check..well with the exception of red/black.

    Programing with Arduino: On Range
Turn On power when Wifi/Bluetooth is connect on the device with your Smarthphone
Turn Off power when Wifi/Bluetooth is not connect the device with your Smarthphone

This is turn off completely when your smartphone is not in range. So service tech or valet if they have your fob.

Ok, 2 short videos and my radio settings. I didn't feel any relay click from the module. Also, I tested the power from inside the cab for the pairs going to the tailgate. The pair that is for the lock shows voltage (reads about 5v but meter might not be fast enough to catch and display it) but the lock works. The pair going to the tailgate latch dont show any voltage (video of it).

I hope this helps in troubleshooting and thanks again.

It looks like there is a 20 mb limit.. the video of me checking it is 90 mb.. I'll post what I can and could do a Google Duo video call tomorrow if that helps more. Sorry working late today.

    Results of testing...
    1. Red light was on
    2. Removed plug -no power as expected
3 plugged back in - Red light back on
    4. Pressed unlock 4 times - got tx light to flash on first 3 presses, but no flash on 4th press and no relay click.

The output pin likely got shorted during installation. Gonna PM you and get your address and get you another arduino first thing in the morning. I built the module on female headers so the Arduino could be replaced for this very reason.
