Just finished the install, your module works great! and the LED test sequence caught me on a wire I had in the wrong connection. But I have the issue of the tailgate not opening, any tips on making that work?

Awesome! Glad the module is working for you. So the actuator is pulling, just not far enough to drop the gate?

Hey DSIM - The new module is working perfectly now. Thanks for all of your help!

I am having the same issues a few others are where the actuator is pulling but not enough to drop the gate. I posted on Katie's thread as well.

    No problem! Happy to help!

These? Just came in yesterday. Still need to test fit, and Quality Check all of them but they should go up soon!

Nothing flashy lol just 4 wires and a connector for the module side. Im gonna include ttaps and butt connectors with it.

Ttaps for the park and ignition taps and butt connectors for the switch wires.

How will the interlocks for the b harness work on a manual that does not have a park gear?

Thats a fantastic question, can't believe that it has not been asked yet. And kind of ashamed I forgot about the manuals

I'm gonna have to research and see if there is a neutral signal you can tap, something that is only 12V when in neutral.

There's not that many of us lol

The only thing I can think of is maybe the circuitry for cruse control. The truck has to know when the vehicle is in neutral as opposed to gear.

Didn’t know how long the new B-Harness would be. I was thinking they would be similar as the other end of the module. Went ahead and installed the new switch and hooked up a few wires. I will say I learned that it is not necessary to remove the whole switch panel to install a new switch or find 12volt
Great looking B/Harness looking forward to try one. C0A5FAB5-CFF1-4D7B-8C94-D1325F1BB5FB.jpg

If I may add my 2cts. I have a Kenwood stereo in one of my other trucks , to be able to watch a movie, the truck has to be parked and the E-Brake has to be on because there’s a wire hooked to the E-Brake from the stereo. What do ya think

I had a Kenwood head in my Gen II that had the ability to foolishly watch a movie while going down the road. It was made possible by grounding the purple wire that goes to your E-brake. Not advised at all. Don't do it, you'll use it. I'm sorry I even mentioned it.
    Don't be a moke. :smack:

any chance you or @KTJO 4x4 or @caribe makaira know the part numbers for the OEM connections. Be a perfect spot for a PnP harness.

I’m not sure if you are referring to my post or not ? I was mainly giving DSIM an idea to check to see if his module would work using the E-Brake light wire for those who have an Manual transition. I guess I didn’t clarify myself enough :angrygirl: Don’t worry I know all about the purple wire that so many have used with a relay. enough said.
