I was recently rear ended and am getting a pretty nice payout from the deal. I decided it would be a good time to treat myself to a proper rear bumper. However, I often use my truck to shuttle mountain bikes with a tailgate pad, sometimes down in Moab where there's a lot of washboard. I'm realizing that shackle mounts might get a little too friendly with the bikes wheels. Does anyone have any experience with this?
