    OK.

We've all seen those steel panels that replace the plastic panel on the inside of your Tacoma tailgate. We've also see those steel tailgate caps that replace the factory plastic ones.

So the question is, does anybody make a replacement that is a combination of both panel and cap all in one? Thanks.

You could always weld them together :D

Although you've made me consider welding my @Mobtown Offroad panels together for more rigidity. Hmmm

Yes. Relentless does. We also make one for the 3rd gen, but not the 2nd gen. I’m not really sure it’s any stronger. With them separate, the two pieces overlap. So the section where the one piece options are “combined”, the two piece option is 2x as thick in that small area (since the 2 halves overlap). Idk, that’s just my thoughts on it anyway.

I have the aluminum relentless reinforcement with the factory ribbed panel over it.

Not really; I covered it with padding and outdoor carpet to make a very comfortable place to sit. You don’t see much of the flat part anymore.

I don't hate that. I should, but I don't. Did you just reuse the bolts that attach the plate as the reinforcement attachments for the carpeting?
