my thoughts exactly. Been waiting for something like this for a while, price is steep though.

 

Ease of access more than the extra storage space is the appeal for me. The only other good places I have for my air up equipment and recovery straps are behind the rear passenger seats and under my retrax cover container - both of which are not ideal access locations depending on how the truck is loaded.

Struts not needed, Def don’t buy the ktjo version. If one was to pack it full of ramen then it would be a hit on Instagram. Then you wouldn’t worry about the tailgate warping because the ramen would support it. You could even use a celebrity chef endorsed ramen. Make some real bitcoin.

I'm happy with the storage under the second row seating.

I don't even use the small un-lockable storage box in the bed.

Looks like you going to spend another couple of hundred on the gate king hinge assist. Because I’m pretty sure thats what they have on there ad. I like the idea but not for that price

 

I would buy for my ‘05 if it were a thing. I did the 3rd gen soft open mod and now my tailgate dampener overpowers the tailgate weight. Hah! My little wimpy truck is too wimpy. Gotta add some mass. Too bad no mo Mobtown.

and I do have a MH panel on it too. Still too light. Maybe lead shot?

I second this. Not to mention if the recovery gear is coming out it's likely a messy situation. Putting that gear back in the cab of the truck sucks.

 

Has anything been updated? I waited a while to hear back about the overhead molle and just gave up.

 

His stuff always takes a long while, but it’s worth. Don’t get your hopes up of any time soon, but just keep an eye out for it, because when it comes out, all hell will break loose for it.

 

Gotta make sure you put the hose clamp mod on your t-gate or your loss will be exponential if it disappears. Maybe this Co. should include it with the sale?
