    Any other fixes for a 2013 (2nd Gen) ? I'm assuming the hose clamp would work. Newbie here. I've had my Taco two days. Thanks for suggestions. BTW, I went ahead and got a Stant locking gas cap. It did not screw up the check engine light.

    Nope. Hose clamp mod is very minimal protection. You get what you pay for. You can pay it now, or pay much more later.
