    In my searches ive found little

    For a 2017 if its locked, its basically secure aside from scumbag steve using a drill and a torx bit to remove the plastic

    I'm thinking of welding a piece over the gap cause Ill never remove the tailgate

    Only takes a thief one failed attempt to know to bring a screwdriver/sockets for those hose clamps. Guess it's better than nothing though.

    You hunt gold for a living, nuggets laying on the surface all over the place. You can tell that there is a nugget two feet under the ground. Are you going to bring a shovel next time to dig up the ones that are a couple feet under the ground? Nope, you are just going to pick up the ones on the surface.

    Mine is figured in such a way that the head of the clamp isint top dead center

    Not like I just put it on there for easy on and off access with a flathead :thumbsup:
