Tailgate trim loose?

I noticed my tailgate trim on top where it bolts to the tailgate is a little loose. All bolts are tight. It was really loose and the dealer replaced the trim. Now it’s much better but still loose. Anyone else have this? Is it normal on the 3rd gens? Thanks! Phone won’t allow me to upload the video but the plastic moves around the bolts a little.

 

I noticed this same issue and I tightened down the bolts without success. I considered placing some adhesive foam strips underneath to help provide some extra pressure/friction to prevent the movement; in the end I'll probably just live with it, or buy of of those nice aluminum tailgate caps.

It's a little loose on purpose from factory' If it wasn't, it would buckle from the heat in the sun. Loose for expansion/contraction. Your side bed rail caps are the same, a little loose.
