    Theft sure sucks but it's nice that the dealership is replacing it for you.

    If you use a regular hose clamp, install it with the screw head facing down. I had to slide under the bumper on my back to screw it on. Don’t make it easy for the bad people. BTW, I used a regular hose clamp because my tailgate is always locked and my truck is usually in my garage.

    *OEM Mods: Intermittent wipers, Fogs, Keyless Entry, Lomax
    Hose clamps, Sabelco or whatever locks. power locks …. I don’t get it. My tailgate has a regular key lock that works perfectly. Not sure why that doesn’t work for others.

    I don’t believe bad people put that much thought in to it. I also don’t believe California put much thought in to arriving at the $950 dollar amount.
