I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
This is what I'm talking about! How did you configure the bar for the different positions? I was thinking along the lines on like a swing away trailer hitch with a pin but it doesn't look like that's what you did.

Is that a prison in the background?

I built a fold down setup for my 30" LCD and mount the dish off the rail system. It takes me about 15 mins to make the full setup. Everything folds flush and I can lock it under my cover.

What's powering all that? That's pretty sweet.

I have a 2000W Honda Gen. We can run 2 TVs and receivers, 3 fans, and 2 crockpots with it still in eco idle mode. I usually top off the tank just before I go in and it will go through the day.

What kind of screws did you use? I'm assuming there's no way to get a nut behind there.

As mentioned you just pull the taillight out and there's plenty of room for a nut.

I used M5 socket head cap screws. They're actually for a disc brake caliper on a bike. I have more spare parts for bikes than I do for cars.

Lol, 2 crockpots. That's awesome. We just run a tv and digital antenna off a 1000w inverter.

Well I figured the bar positions in a very technical way. I took all of the math lessons I got in school.....and I threw all that out the window. I slid it out to where there was some bar left in the receiver and was still stable. And I drilled the hole using the receiver hitch as a guide. I pushed it in as far and it would go and then pulled it out a few inches.....another hole. Done. :D

That's the county jail and sheriff's dept. in the background. I work at the EMS station next door. The prison is across the street. lol
