Taillight white clip

2022 taco i just install taillights but I think the white clip on top not good cuz the taillight won't click in and there a little gap where water can get in the other is great dose any no like the item number or get a new clip

They often come off with the light. They mount on the light stud and pop into the sheet metal tabs.

 

Yea that's the one I think it's bad because it won't click and the taillight not flush kinda lose on the top little gap

 

Try popping it off of the tail light, insert it into the sheet metal, and then pop the tail light in. They're usually a pain to get off the light.

 

I did but with new tail it won't click In so am thinking clip no good cuz light Loose uptop

You can also take the old clip to an auto parts store and they can match it up to a new non-OEM clip.

 

I appreciate the help in this thread. My clip broke as well. It was being super stubborn and decided to break on me. I'm hoping my local dealer has one in stop and not at a ridiculous price xD
