What's the deal with downing the PreRunners? You'd be very surprised about what they can do.

Just because we dont drive like you doesn't mean we have to be like you. Derek drives his truck hard and I dont see you being discourteous to him.

So, I'm going to ask you to stay out of my threads because you have nothing helpful towards the subject of the thread. Only worthless, rude, comments because you can't admit that PreRunners can have the same fun as you.

No pic of the rear now, next time I put the tires on, I'll take some.

Those are 33x12.50-16 in 16x10 steelies with 4"BS and 1.25" spidertrax spacers.

They do look mean, don't they? :D

Need to trim some to be able to use them, those pics were checking fit of the tires with a small 2.25 lift.

Here's one for you...What's it to you? I mean you obviously made up your mind that this truck will never see the benefits of 35s.

its so he can say he has 35s man and he might like the look of them. I used to have a Tacoma Prerunner and I don't see why they would benefit the truck in any wheeling situations. I know they will kill your gas milage though. Its like me asking why he wants a LT kit on his truck even though he doesn't live in the Desert. I can tell you now it wouldn't help a damn bit getting his truck over things because he is 2x4. it will make the ride softer on the trail but thats it. Its his truck and his money let the kid do what he wants to it.

Why the hell do you need Long travel in Alabama. Come on you know there are no deserts anywhere near us. Just go for RCD or Pro Comp 6".

yeah but you are also 4x4 so use can use the extra droop/travel on slow crawling trails. Lents can't. and if he LTs the rear SUA then you have an even harder time wheeling because you will ruin your springs if they drag on a rock.

Ok see you could have said this before and I would have been cool with it. But you had to make a jerk comment.

No butthurt here. Sure I'm a PreRunner- What does that matter? I can add and subtract things all I want.

I can go to LT or solid axle (sure its alot of work), but I can add on anytime I have the money to do so.

The purpose of 35"s is that, yes it is for looks, but I do trail ride with it ALOT. I have 4x4 friends so I'm not too worried about getting stuck and not being able to be pulled out. Of course its going to be a headache. I love the challenge.

And the Chevy is a LONNGGGG way away from being done- My dad is buying it from me and he is a perfectionist. Paying me for the parts, labor and at the end, the truck itself.

the benefit of a larger tire is ground clearance if you actually wheel it. ground clearance isnt needed as much in desert situations, but on trails it does. a guy can have a locked truck, but if he's slamming the front bumper or catching the frame on rocks, it's not gonna be a fun day

If you are 4x4 though Jamie. ;) I know why they are need for crawling. but as a person that had a locked prerunner before my 4x4 LT truck, you can't crawl it hard enough to benefit for the extra 1" of ground clearance that you'd get by going 35s like you would if you are 4x4.
