Just put the OME carrier bearing drop kit on an hour ago and cured my take-off shudder. What an easy fix and it makes the truck feel solid and sturdy again. I also lost the vibes I got when going 45+ on the highway. I'm one of the lucky ones with an easy fix.
I also had this wierd rattle when going about 8-10 mph, sounded like it was coming from the passenger side floor or door. when I was under the truck putting in the bearing drop I flicked the heat shield above the exhaust pipe that goes into the muffler and noticed a rattle. I put rubber washers between the shield and floor pan and between the nut and shield and no more rattle. Just another quick fix and my ride is rollling smooth.

    Aloha from Maui.

(I meant Take-off shudder in the title.....)
