I am wondering if anyone has taken their OR fender flares for any reason and reattaching.

I'm looking to take mine off to rhino spray them, but I know that the flares are held on by a line of adhesive. If you take the flares off, do the adhesive get ruined so the flares would not be be re-attached properly? If so, would some double-sided 3M tape work just as well?

Love to hear your thoughts, thank you!

Yes, you would need to buy 3m tape. 1/4" from 3m will work fine
Also, each flare has about 9 clips - different size/color.
You most definitely will bust a few. Need to have a few spares to install the flare back properly

Thank you for the info, what kind of clips is it, is it something I can buy at a hardware store or Amazon?

The topic was brought up a while ago and this is what I used on my truck.
But check yours, should see the rear pins from underneath of the truck
