    Soon to be purchased Tacoma
    Hello all,
After taking a near 20 year break from offroading, I dipped my toe back in last year and bought a beater Tahoe- lifted on 33s with a limited slip, but fun to tool around in on desert trails.

Now it's time to scream and leap (ok, more like plan meticulously, take long strides as I can, and make sure to enjoy the ride).

After much research on midsize trucks and JKUs, I have decided to go with the Tacoma.

Now to get it purchased, rigged out for moderate multi-use offroad (some trail running, some overlanding, some crawling- no extremes of anything, just a general overall rig for fun and family adventures)

The offroading guys I know are jeep guys, so I'll be using the forums to help every step of the way. I'n not a wrencher, so will have to find a local shop to do the any mechanical mods more serious than remove and bolt on.

Thanks in advance for the support, I'll need it.

Welcome to TW! I'm a former Jeeper myself (TJ). Lots of help on the forum to get introduced to some wrenching and save yourself some money.
