That should be the strongest point on the rear of that frame! The gauge of that steel was pretty stout.

Could have been better.....I was constantly popping the breaker. I got on Amazon this morning to look for the adapter and realized I already had one in my garage :anonymous::facepalm:

Yeah its beefy. The metal store didnt have exactly what I wanted so I upsized. End plates are 1/4 . Tube and gussets are 3/16s. That 1/4 is hard as hell to cut. Killed a unibit trying to enlarge the holes.

Definitely makes the rear end stiffer and more planted. Great mod for the hangers without frame plates. Frame plates and a new crossbrace are on my to-do list.

Finished it up this morning and cut the metal for triangulating the fram on the trailer. I really need to get a metal band saw. Cutting by hand sucks. I have metal splinters in places the sun dont shine :anonymous:

Thinking about this for black friday. Only 100 pounds fast set up and you can store bedding in it.

Depends on what the black Friday price is. I really like it but it is 60 pounds heavier than the CVT and wont hold sleeping bag and pillows.

oh really? then I take my statement back. Not to defer against CVT, but I think there are cheaper options out there. Did you sell your current setup? Or are you going dual RTTs? (I did that, trendsetter again :D )
