ECGS installed 4.88 gears yesterday. The transmission was jumping 20 - 30 degrees on mild inclines. I didnt see it spike at all on the way home. The test will be Crabtree meadows. Some serious elevation changes out that way. I was seeing temps as high as 240 degrees before the transmission cooler install.

Greased all my drive line zerks and UCAs today. Skids can go back on after I break in the gears and change the diff fluids! Changed all the idler pulleys as well with gates from rock auto.

ECGS noticed my front driver wheel bearing was bad so I had them change that while it was on the lift.

    Pic just because

I need to do all pulleys. Difficulty rating? Special tools needed? How many miles do you have now? I just hit 75k

Really easy. I'm right at 95k. Just remember the tensioner pulley is reversed thread. There is a little hole you stick a screwdriver in on the tensioner to hold it open.

    Edit: forgot you had supercharger
    Maybe a little more difficult

Finally finished the 3rd round of cab mount chopping I've done. Modified and welded up some Insain Fab plates to try and box it in a little. Its ugly but it will work. 20180422_133851.jpg

Switched up to some caliraised fogs and new led headlights. I wasn't happy with the Amazon fogs and my old led headlights were starting to flicker. 20180422_145906.jpg

Flexed the 35s a little while I was out. I put wheelers superbumbs in the front a few weeks back. Seems to be working out!

they always seem to get water inside. Maybe because they are not 100% waterproof? but everytime I open mine, the tools have some moisture.

I am going back to keeping a plano in the bed for these items. I am also going to get some Front Runner Wolfpack boxes

Did they always keep moisture or did that develop over time? I have been surprised how dry mine has stayed. I drilled 2 holes in the side for power to the compressor. I figured moisture would have found it's way in but none yet. I had been keeping my tool roll in a box under the softopper. That box had some condensation in it so I moved everything out and to the new plano. Mostly I just want to keep stuff up there that I don't want to have to dig around the bed for when I really need it during a recovery or break down.
