u also cant leave out that bush started his share of shit to leave to others when he went into a country after he had all of his 'yes men' give him the answers he wanted to go in. al-qaida wasnt in iraq until after bush went in. if he had stuck to afghan like he should have, we'd be in less shit now. his $10B a month in an war to make his daddy proud took its toll over the last 6 years. he is also the one that signed off on the stimulus last year....AND signed off on the bank and auto bailouts. he had the veto power just like people say obama had to veto other things so far... bush had the IQ of a fetal pig in a jar in a science class....he was WAY out of his league in the presidency. he had the IQ to be a govenor (only of texas), but still

and thats not a fight w/ u either

obama had nothing to do with the economical crisis we are currently in... this has been coming for several terms (thank you dems AND repubs) any real solution to this is going to take drastic measures using very large amounts of money... there is also going to be a lot of risk involved in whatever course of action we take to get ourselves out of this hole as there is no set of instructions on how to fix economies.

we all know there isn't going to be any action that will produce immediate results and things will stay crappy if not get worse for some time... no matter who is president!

so lets take a chill pill and have a little patience and wait for the plans obama (and many others) put in place to either fail or start showing results before we blame it all on him... because as of right now he is still trying to fix the problems created by others, not him

Typical....lol. What Bush spent in his 8 years (including 2 wars) will end up being penny's on the dollar (if that) compared to what the boy genius has spent already. Research the facts. 10 Bil a month is NOTHING. BO has spent an average of $45.8 billion a day during his first 50 days in office.

"Socialism" also started with the last administration when they bought the banks and bailed out Wall Street. At least we're putting oversight in place and trying to place some limits and requirements on those companies receiving money now, the first batch was just billions of dollars tossed in the air.

10 bil a month (plus other action sending us deep into the red) created a problem that required spending 45 billion a day to solve (hopefully)

I think the problem is where the money is being spent.

If instead of spending billions to bail out proven-to-fail corporations, the government infused OUR money back into OUR economy, we may be a happier bunch of coconuts.

Also, I think it is necesary to let natural selection run its course here, If a business is failing, so be it... sucks for them but in the end they only have their selves to blame.

Lets also let it be known that the Unions of this country need to be destroyed with a nuclear weapon...

Quit looking at the past... time to look forward... you keep comparing Obama to Bush -- which is pretty funny... many of your arguments say "bush did it first..." -- isn't Obama all about the change?

Like I've said before... my qualm with Obama is that he is a HUGE hypocrite - and he used change mantra to dupe people into voting for him.

    Hypocrisy in action :)

I'll be running with you shortly :D

so you're saying Texans are dumb? That's a pretty broad statement... and a bit stereotypical

Bush had the IQ of a pig fetus? Wow... getting a bit emotional hodgey?

So spend MORE money

    Well said Jordan.

    LMAO @ the picture.

I agree that spending ad infinitum will not fix a deficit problem...but right now if the gov't executed a spending reduction like you (and I) would like to see...the economy would fail even faster. We were/are in extremis due to bad decisions on many many peoples parts. The gov't is already so large and involved in everything to such as extent that if it stopped all wasteful spending today-it would end so many business and projects- and that's a dad idea to try right now. Down the road- Yes...We need to cut spending without a doubt and look at the way lots of things are done.

I think we kind of agree on gov't spending being out of control...but when to fix it is a good question. I can't prove that this is the right way...or that yours is wrong. have to wait and see what comes from it.

well if u havent seen the facts, bush is far from a texan. born in connecticut, attended a boarding school in massachusetts, college in yale and harvard, not to mention the head cheerleader of his senior class....while only attending a few years of school in texas....if that were the case, then i'd be a texan too for living there for 3 years. guess i need to fake an accent too. and i'm not getting emotional....bush is retarded and was promoted to being a pilot w/ low aptitude scores...wish my daddy was a politician too. if u want a diect example to his lack of intelligence, look at any speech, any dance routing he decided to break out into, or how he sat there w/ a blank stare on his face when told of the planes crashing instead of getting off his assand doing something about it

and as far as the bush/obama comparison, thats all yall do is compare them to each other.....bush wouldnt have done that, bush did this, bush was our only savior after 9/11 and NO dem would have been as good. there's no way to tell that b/c no one else was there and dumb enough to push aside the direct threats from them in the first place.
