Only matters if you have the DCLB. Otherwise I can make up the lack of cheesecake carrying capacity in the cab with extra cheesecake carrying capacity in the bed.

As mentioned, it really just comes down to how many people you need to haul. If you haul a of cargo lot they are more driveable and parkable than a DCLB, not that those are awful, but there is a difference. Everything else washes out pretty much. You get less if you sell it, but they cost less in the first place, so as a percentage it is about the same.

The extra foot of bed room really makes a difference. I'm not a fan of how the access cab looks, nor a fan of double cab, short bed looks.

Double cab, long bed is the way to go IMO.

AC has longer bed, and is BETTER in resale value - not as many around. - mostly double cabs

How often will you actually haul people long distances and need a full backseat? Do you value having a longer bed for gear and other stuff? These were my top 2 questions that led me to an access cab. That and they can be had less expensively than a DCSB.

I wouldnt automaticly call a DC smartee money. A working man could be better off with an Access Cab because:

    Saving Money w/ smaller Cab
Smaller Cab is less weight is more payload
    Longer Bed more Payload
More payload is more money for you
Jump seats are good for indoor payload or for occasional passengers.
