Here is my Chevy Suburban. It has a brand new Vortec 5.7L motor, new transmission and now it needs a rear axle. Been a great SUV when it runs. Doing s SAS because the suspension is shot. But the interior looks brand new. What a pile of shit.

At least the first gen Ridgelines looked like what a unibody truck should look like. Honda jumped off the deep end with the 2nd gen.

Man, I think GM managed to really screw the pooch on their QA:
    https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/212271-2018-colorado-transmission-issues/

Also, I hope this is a fluke:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/Justrolled...te_on_the_5_mile_2019_colorado_found_out_why/

On the other side of the coin, I picked up a toyota with 180,000 miles and 19 years on the clock. The interior is dirty, but perfectly functional, with one rattle. I've put over 10,000 on it since and its been flawless.

I guess that summarizes my vote?

Here is my buddy's Colorado. It runs great, just needs a new transmission and some body work. What a POS, and it's still new.

My new 2006 Colorado puked the engine at 70K, turns out they all had issues that GM knew about and didn't bother to address.

Shit happens but they didn't step up and take care of business by me when I found all the secret warranty stuff online. A "free" fix cost almost 2k and the dealer and corporate each said the other did it. Yeah..I was also still under the powertrain warranty when I brought it in but the dealer lied and fudged the date on it.

Just got out of Colorado and back to Tacoma. Fit, finish, paint, and overall quality of the Taco is still superior in my opinion. GM product was a rattle trap, had poor paint, and oh yeah.. the class action on the transmission. (Mine was starting to do the GM shudder). Happy to be back.
