So far it looks like Ford wins in the following categories:
    Speakers
    Long distance road trips
    Speed
    Gas prices
    Better interior but kinda subjective

    Tacoma wins:
    Resale
    Off-roading
    Free sunroof
    6 foot bed option
    Shocks
    Reliability

Stuff like best body and colors available are up for grabs.

Everyone is afraid of taking a leap on a product without a lot of data available.

Wife's car was getting serviced today so I checked out both new Tacomas and the new Ranger. The interior of the Ranger felt cramped and small. I only had to sit in it for a short while to know I wouldn't buy one. I prefer my 08 Tacoma interior to the new Ranger.

Go for it if you want an explorer with a bed. Im not sold on that 2.3L after the issues they had with it in the Focus RS. Coming from a Ford ST and driving Ford products at work, I feel like I have a good grasp at what kind of product Ford is putting out these days. I'll stick with my 'yota.

Yes. Any joint venture between GM and Ford to create a transmission that has 5 times as many parts is clearly forward thinking.

    FFS, thats depressing.

They took a legend and turned it into another anonymous crossover. :(

I'm still really curious to see how the ecoboosts fare in the long run. In theory they've designed it right, but they also said that about the 6.0. And #ecoboom is a hashtag...

I'm not knocking the 2wd, I have a 2wd myself. There were just a few posts around here of people not researching and bought a 2wd then realized they wanted or even needed a 4wd.

I'm kinda confused. Why come to a Toyota site to ask about a Ford product? hmmm, if I want info regarding a Toyota Should I go to a Mini Cooper site? They are cute little buggers though!
