We have one at work. 140-150,000 miles. The noise the exhaust makes sounds like it should be fast but...., not really! It might just be our company truck was made on a Monday after a 4 day weekend. Complete dog.

    we had 9 f150’s and 1 2014 f250.

    10 trucks in 20 yrs ...2000-2020

This is absolutely the dumbest thing I've ever read. You are a total asshat with no clue what you are talking about. My "litt;e" 2.7 will dust a Tacoma and a 6.2 without even trying hard. My resale is every bit as good as aTaco. You're just a fanboy blowing lies. if you cant help the man, at the very least don't lie to him. DAMN!!!!!!

    Lol
I drive one everyday for work.
I like the 250. That makes me a fanboy?Got it!
I gave my opinion on the 10 different f150’s and f250s that I have driven daily over a 20 year span.
Again, I like the f250 way more than the f150. They all have/had between 140,000 miles to 385,000 miles. All were brand new with under 100 miles at purchase.

    Gamason the tacoma troll

For the record loves 2.7lt and will dust a tacoma .

Do you really even need a truck?

An AWD CUV with a hitch for the occasional trailer rental needed when the cargo area won't suffice or an AWD Sienna / Oddessy. Any of which will get better MPG.

I do. I am avid deer hunter and fisherman and it's much easier to haul gear, deer, quarters, coolers, muddy/bloody stuff, etc in the back of a truck. The only real question is, do I need 4wd. I think that I don't, and can just alter a few decisions for those 2-3 times per year when a field might be a little to damp to drive through. Basically, don't be lazy and walk the extra quarter to half mile instead of trying to drive in if I think getting stuck might be a possibility.

Is it the base non-turbo 6? If so I can see that... but no way on the ecoboost. I had a 15 F150 with the 3.5 ecoboost and that motor had TQ and HP for days. TQ came in nice and low too almost diesel like. Excellent engine especially for towing.

Untill it shuts off in the desert for no reason. Never understood why Ecoboost did that

Get a Frontier. New drivetrain makes it a go fast truck.

The older drivetrain is damn near bulletproof. You'll save some $$$ too.

There is no question at all about that dude. I would not have a ford if you gave me the piece of shit.

So I went and test drove some Fords and while I do like their gas mileage, the feel of the Tundra combined with the more options at the same price point have led me to go with a Tundra. The Tundra just felt like a higher quality vehicle.
I'm sure a King Ranch, Platinum, or Raptor would have been amazing, but not in my budget.

I think I would have been perfectly happy with a f-150 if I didn't know any better, but driving around a Tundra for a week was too much for the F-150 to overcome.

Most work trucks Ford makes include the 3.3L V6 which is naturally aspirated and not a twin turbo.

I prefer the Ford, personally. But, hands down, the Tundra is the most reliable truck right now.

I'm sure they are really good trucks.
We're quite lucky to be in positions to be able to make these kinds of decisions.

Someone's bran flakes kicked in while they were on the riding mower this morning. Switch back to Fruit Loops by tomorrow.
