I have a 2006 Tacoma 4wd. I just picked up a set of TSS wheels for it. I'm trying to figure out if my current TPMS will work (if I replace the batteries) or if I just need to break down and buy the new ones that would have come with these rims.
    These:

My truck originally came with the 17" TRD Sport wheels you see everywhere. Right now I have 4Runner sport wheels on my truck.

My original sensors fit the wheels, but apparently all my batteries were dead and so they couldn't be programmed. I'm tired of watching the tire light, and I really want to have it functioning again.

Do I need new sensors for the TSS wheels? OR will my current ones work / fit in the new wheels. If someone could give me the part # of the sensors for the TSS wheels, I might just buy new ones anyway.

My spare is the original steel wheel. If I have to replace the sensor on that wheel, it should be the type for steel wheel correct?

Sorry for all the stupid questions, thanks for any help!

Actually after researching this a TON more it looks like the batteries aren't changeable. So I'll head to my local dealer or call them and tell them I have a 2015 Tacoma and see if I can get the part # out of them.
