This was on my FB.

The Honda motorcycle rider was travelling at approximately 85mph.
The VW driver... was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The rider's reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident.

The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them.
The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place.

All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly.

This graphic demonstration was placed at the Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety Department..

Pass this on to car drivers or soon to be new drivers, or new motorcycle owners AND ESPECIALLY EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHO HAS a mobile PHONE!!!!!

A picture is worth a thousand words.

    Save a life!

Stop talking on mobile phones and Texting while trying to drive.
The life you save may be your own..... or mine...

I really don't get the people that drive around in pricey cars that you know have bluetooth yet they still hold the phone. My 30K truck has bluetooth and I use it. Morons!

I'm pretty sure I've seen that picture before, years ago.

The driver is dead... but they WIN! This is the same argument as someone wanting to cross the street. They have the right of way, turn on the crossing flashers (if they were at our imaginary example), and just walk out. They get hit and killed... but they had the right of way. If they had paid attention and ensured it was safe to cross they would be here right now. So many people get caught up in the "other guys fault". Does life mean so little to people that they expect others to look after it for them?

x2. The story I heard was the motorcycle ran a red. I can't remember all the details though.

Regardless, don't talk and drive if you can't pay attention to more then one thing. Don't text and drive, I've seen fatalities from that shit. And lastly, don't drink and drive.

If memory serves me the guy was going closer to 160 mph and it occurred in Britian.

But needless to say "HANG UP THE PHONE, PAY ATTENTION WHILE DRIVING" And this way it will keep everyone safer on the road.

This coming from me who almost ended up in the hospital last Monday when someone decided to turn left infront of me while I was on my bike. 2 things in my favor, 1st going slow cause it was a busy road just after rush hour, and 2nd I'm a good driver/rider who looks around to keep myself and others safe.
