So I'm 6'3", and in order to not hit my head while sitting in my truck I have to put the seat back further than i would like, and slouch slightly while driving. Apart from getting some lowered racing seat, what are my options as far as getting the seat lower?

Let me know if you come up with anything. I also wish the seat could be adjusted to a lower setting. I sat in a 16 trd pro 4Runner at the auto show this past January and that's the first thing I checked. It has the feature and it's great.

I`m 6'2 and had an 81 pick up back in the day. So to keep my head off the roof i put Fiearo seats in it. They are very low profile and since it was a single cab with no room the speakers in the headrestwere great.

Huh that's interesting, I'm tall as you and I have some clearance between my head and the roof, I guess everyone is different. .. some postings on here from tall folks complain about the seat and how LOW it is, and one of the solutions is to put spacers in and actually raise the seat to make it more comfortable.. as for lowering it, the front where it attaches could be lower as it is attached on a vertical surface, as for the rear of the sea, perhaps someone with fab experience could weld a solution..

I had to drill new holes in the floor. Not a big deal in a beat up 81 when i was 18 years old. Got a pic or two of the truck in my build thread, nothings of the inside though.
