Tamlando (Tampa/Orlando) Meet @ Smokey Bones in Lakeland, FL (ONGOING)

I'll be in town, but I have a prior commitment, so I won't make it.

 

Damn, this may be a tiny meet. Me, Frank, and Kyle, and I'll be rolling the T4R Mall Crawler, haha.

 

I’ll be working and can’t make it.

 

That’s what happens when they vote Saturday. Sunday’s work best for a lot of people

 

I wont be able to attend I had a AC leak which resulted into tearing out the living room floor. This weekend will be replacing what I had to rip up.

 

I've been saying this for 23yrs!

 

Is this thing still going down tomorrow? The thread is deader than dammit. No convoy meet up plans or anything.

 

I will not be attending.

 

Ill be there. So i hope people show or the 4 hr drive round trip will suck

 

A lot of people I know backed out. Saturday meets suck because I don’t get them off a lot. Sunday’s I’m off

 

I’m going to be surprised if it’s a big turnout

 

Yeah, Frank just told me he wasn't going either. Only one person said they were going so far. I'm thinking maybe we should call it before a few people waste their time and fuel only to have three or four others show up. I need to go to Lakeland anyway, but I can do it later in the afternoon once Todd gets home.

 

Well at least two of us are going to be there at 2pm if anyone else wants to meet us there we'ed be heppy to see ya!

I'll be rolling in with the T4R though. The OGT is still on the injured reserve list with a crapped out throw-out bearing.

 

So 5 total showed up. Was cool seeing different things done to these trucks.

Haha, wow, you guys didn't stay very long. There was nobody there when I rolled in at 2pm.

This was the only Taco I saw until Kyle rolled in about 20 minutes later...



It's like the redneck version of @Timbo's Customs complete with step rails, dog box, and a generous amount of bro lean.

(And I'm ashamed to say I'm still jealous because...SAS.)

 

We left at like 1. But ill def come back next time. It was cool meeting some of the people from the site. Now just to time a offroad trip when im not busy...

 

Yeah, this today was definitely not a typical example of this event. Usually we don't even finish up with the Swap Meet portion of the event and head inside the restaurant until about 12:30 or 1:00 and we might get back out in the parking lot for the BSing and eye fondling by 2:30 or so, haha.

It was a gorgeous day for a meet though. Too bad it was on a Saturday.
