Well, I finally got the OGT buttoned back up today. Changed the oil and put the skid plate back on. The only outstanding maintenance items left are the carrier bearing and a new steering rack guide, both of which are ~$80 each in parts. :annoyed:

It's supposed to be a standard, but not something you can enforce. Tire manufacturers are in different countries.
Check the other side of the tire to see if they installed the tires to hide the markers.
    http://www.tirebusiness.com/article...s-those-color-coded-sidewall-markings-serve-a

The other issue may be a tire that is out of round. I went through this with a set of Yoko Geolanders that just would not run smooth. I was lucky and they were returned under a "try before buy" warranty. I replaced them with Michelins and never looked back. I also had issues with Cooper tires, but that was a long time ago. Sometimes you get a bad set of tires and you just have to try something else. I know it's a pain to remove and remount them, but stuff happens. If a tire is bad enough that it can't be balanced (using a normal amount of weights), then anything short of shaving won't help the problem.

Well they refused to try and road force them saying that won't do anything. And they are between 4-8oz Each. Which I guess is better than the 16+oz tires plus had them at. 1 wheel didn't even have weights put on at TP.

Apparently that's the wrong price. They honored it but it's supposed to be more for bigger tires.

I know that certain services are cheaper up there than down here but it did seem rather cheap. I thought they might've had a special

well it went down about 10oz per wheel so it rides ALOT better. Feels a lot lighter and rides smooth until about 75-80mph then a small vibration begins. However, I never go over 65-70 when I'm in the truck so for now I'm satisfied I guess lol.

Well, that's not too bad I guess. Maybe the tires will smooth out a bit more after some use.

No they refused to rotate the tires at all due to fear of messing up the custom wheels lol. So they just rebalanced them.

Due to fear of scratching the wheels?!?! That's ridiculous. The 1st shop that I found deals with commercial sized tires so I can understand them not having the plastic part that clips on to the arm which is used to dismount/mount the tires but these guys? I asked if they could rotate the tires on the wheels if needed & they said yes. I can understand that if you are dealing with 245/35r21's (I sold 4 of those today for $2040 on a Tesla & they are a BITCH to install) but your tires have enough sidewall flex to not force the machines arm into the wheel & gouge it.

Wow. Glad you felt an improvement but that's pretty crappy. Maybe that would've been the little bit of adjustment needed to have your truck 100% smooth.

Do you have any warranty that allows you to return for re-balancing?
