We went x-mas lighting tonight. Hit the big spots that I know about. Hyaleah Rd and the Pepin house in Temple Terrace as well as the points in between on Druid Hills and River Hills. Hyaleah was awesome as always. Those folks really put on a good show. It's fantastic how the whole street works together to light up the whole street (and they've been at it for over 15 years as well). The Pepin house was also great, though it's all done in white lights, the scope of it makes up for the lack of color.

So...does anyone know of any other must see locations for driving around looking at Christmas lights in the Tampa area?

your truck would do just fine on lots parts of it, if you just go trail riding throughout there are tons of trails that don't need too much clearance, nor are any problem at all for 2wd

Seriously? 'Cause the weather we've been looking at says it's going to be nice. Maybe a little damp on Friday, but other than that it looks good.

No... I mean I was planning on going this weekend, meaning I would have been there this past Fri--today. And the wind and rain would have sucked for hunting.. Next weekend should be perfect for riding..And if I have an extra tank of gas to blow I might just head on up .

Ah, got ya. Misunderstood which weekend you were talking about.

You should come up. Tampa is kinda under-represented for this meet. Even Miami is sending more guys than up, lol.

I'm gonna put this out there. If any of you Tampa-area folks ever find yourselves stuck and in need of a tug, I'm there for ya. If that sounds like something you might need, PM me and I'll give you my number. That goes for any of you Pinellis, Pasco, and Brandon guys as well, although you might be waiting a bit for me to get over to you. South of Brandon, I'd be willing to make the trip if I've got the gas, but you'll be waiting a while.

At any rate, the offer is there if you need it.
