    personally, i'd go with amsoil for the savings.... it's only $20 but it's actually 40% additional cost, and you don't need it for mod day, it's literally 1 bolt out and 1 bolt in, but that's just my opinion, i'm a cheapo

    Well, we got finished lifting the rear end of Brian's truck at 1:30. Hugo stopped by and helped out a bit which was much appreciated. We could have got it done quicker, but we were taking it easy so as to save some energy for tomorrow. Brain splooged all the fasteners with the Pimp Juice (50/50 ATF/Acetone mix) and all the bolts sailed right out with no problems. It wasn't bad at all. Only problem was that his rear U-joint is a on it's way out.

    At any rate, the truck didn't look too goofy riding ass high, so it'll be fine until tomorrow. :thumbsup:

    Just 5100s. He could use a little input on what setting to run. He's only running 3" in the back, and he wants to run 285s. I told him that 0 might be the best setting or the first notch to be on the safe side with rubbing issues, but you have more experience than me with this stuff so you could probably give better advise.

    I think with the spindles & 5100's set @.85 he'd be pretty close to level. That will put him at almost 5" up front & typically we have 2" of rake so 5 & 3 should be level in theory.
    @Timbo89 do you use a compressor to adjust them once they are on the truck? I'd like to adjust mine to 2.5.

    Haha, well, I'll let you guys figure it out. Brian sent me a pic of the truck his spindles came off of and the description said it was running 3" in the back and its 5100s were set at 1.75. It had a pretty severe bro-lean so I figured 0 would probably let the truck sit close to level, maybe with a slight rake, but since they are such a PITA to change the setting, the first notch (.85?) might be safer to avoid rubbing.

    @Hugopreston 's 14 was just the spindles up front, so 4" & 2" in the rear. IIRC he only rubbed the mud flaps but I'd rather have that extra inch or so, plus Brian already has 3 in the rear & if 2 is the difference we need to be about 5 up front. In theory of course.

    I dunno if it's just the driveway, but it looks a touch low in the rear (even accounting for the slope of the driveway). Seems to me, the Billies set at 0 with the 3" AP standard springs in the rear would make it sit either level or maybe a slight rake, which Brian said was his goal. I don't remember what Hugo had for coilovers though. I'm assuming stockers.
