Weird. It was pretty wet the couple of times I've been out there, but it's relative. The worst wet day at Citrus is probably not even close to being as wet as a dry day at Richloam. :D Granted, I don't think I've seen everything out there. I've heard the south side of Stage Coach is pretty brutal--Jeeps on 40s getting swallowed and stuff. But most of it is either 2WD friendly or avoidable depending on the size and composition of your stones (and your wisdom score). ;)

I've never hit ANY trails, period. Being that it is my first and I don't have my winch mounted, just a strap for now, I will choose my path wisely.

hookemhorns47 - If it came down to it, I will pull you out if I can.:mudding:

Shoot, honestly that's why I've been scared to do any real wheeling besides some mudding behind the citrus park mall lmao, just paranoid after my "incident" i guess

I actually pulled a 4x4 dodge out of door deep mud at a construction site with my Tacoma, and It looked just like yours.
I'm going with the guys to see what mods I really need and to have fun.

Same here, until it is paid off to afford another, then I'm going nuts on it.

I'd be down to go with you experienced guys so I can see what my truck is capable of, I just don't want to be "that guy" who needs to be winched out every 100 yards

Just learn from the experience. Don't go hauling ass into water you haven't seen anyone else go through or you haven't walked through first. Back out if it starts to get over the top of your tires. Do these things and you will probably never have an experience like that again.

Citrus isn't that type of place. Rather than being a trail that's a challenge to negotiate, it's more like a bunch of areas to play in with ease trails used to get to them. There's no real spot that you HAVE to drive through to get to any other spot.

citrus is a very easy place and fun for the non experienced. I took my friend with me in his stock '11 prerunner and he had a blast. Its fun to find spots and just mess around in a small area then move on to the next.

Alrighty, fellars, the projects are completed, the carport has been reconfigured from carpentry to automotive maintenance, and the Odd Green Taco is being prepped for surgery.

I know it's short notice, but...anyone available this Saturday for the Clutch Change Party?
