    Mission successful. I removed the starter and opened up the solenoid and found exactly what I thought I would. It had mud all over everything, including the contacts which was intermittantly preventing the plunger from completing the circuit to activate the starter motor.

    I cleaned the contacts and reassembled everything and it appears to be fully operational for zero out of pocket expense. :yay:

    Hell yea good stuff! I made some progress with uncorrupting the video files. So the one I uploaded was only half fixed. I have to go into the command prompt and type this crap up and double the video size so that when I uncorrupt it, it does the whole video. The program I am using is the "demo" version so I am avoiding spending 100 bucks for it.

    Wow you guys are awesome! I want to do it as soon as it gets here. It's coming via snail mail from Headstrong Parts in California, in two packages. I have the full kit coming, spindles, shocks, brake lines, blocks, etc.

    I want to continue running my 4Runner Stock 17s with the fattest 33's I can fit on them once it's all said & done. She is my pavement princess & I luff her.

    I commented this morning on one. Guy posted that he's gonna swap to a k&n filter. He got the instant "better get used to cleaning your maf sensor" and it kept going. Then a guy posted a before and after of a dirty and clean maf sensor. Too bad the part he cleaned was only the intake air temp sensor on it. Omg, seriously. These people need to do some research. Or I need to forget 99% of what I know to dumb myself to their level.

    Just the kit, I'm too cheap to get bigger tires until the stock ones need replacing, they're almost there, not quite. I have been debating wheel spacers, I think they will be needed to match the rear to the front? Not sure as I've heard opinions all over the place, you know better than I it seems!

    Oh I meant the 4" kit & not the 6.5".
    I've got rims with 4.5" BS & I'm running 1.25" spacers on the rear to even it up. You also need to check what your backspace is on those 4runner rims, the max to work with the spindles is 4.75" & anything more the that will require spacers.
    BTW I have a set of Toyo AT II 285/70/17's for sale.
