Howdy everyone, 3 time Tacoma owner here and excited to work on some modifications!

I've previously had a 2002 5-speed, extended cab, TRD silver Taco that was flipped after being broadsided by a lowered Civic.

Second Taco was a 2001 4-door which I sold to my dad so I could purchase my current Taco.

Now I'm driving a 2012 Black, Double Cab, Sport TRD that was a recovered stolen truck. I love it and am ready to get rid of the 245s and jump up to some 275's! Thanks to my buddy in AZ, I'm taking his advice after doing my own research and installing an Old Man Emu lift in a month or so.

I'm eager to add updates as they come along!

Well I haven't been on in awhile and posted anything but figured I would jump on and post.

There are several things I've had to work on with the Taco that I thought I would share the last "major" issue that boggled my mind for a few days.

Last summer I ran into an issue that tossed my Taco into limp mode. Luckily, the place I bought my truck from is less than a mile away and they code my truck for free. It came up with p2440 & p2442 codes. The guys I purchased the truck from told me they knew where the part was on the truck and that it was the Primary and Secondary air injector valves were sticking. They showed me where on the truck they were and told me they had replaced them before and would order the part for me and just charge the what it cost them! So about $550 and a few days later I was installing the part instead of paying the stealership the $2,000 they wanted to charge. I made a 5 part video series that give an overview of the problem, location of the parts, and what bolts/screws/tubing to remove to replace it. It was a fun project and glad I could contribute to the DIY world!

Anyway, my OME lift is sitting in the garage and I'm waiting for Christmas break to install it with my big brother!

*Sigh* I'm bad about keeping up to date on what's been going in the Taco world in TN.

My brother and I installed the Emu lift over Christmas Break! A lot of fun that was, several trips to the local auto store to replace a missing socket, breaker bar etc.

Here is a shot of my brother doing the hard work :)

Here is what it looks like after the lift:

We found out that the front already had some Billy 5100s as a leveling kit!

    Here are the stock leafs:

The ride is fantastic and I'm very happy! I saved some funds and ordered some Fx Pros from Dustin over at FN Wheels! FedEx has been giving me the slow ball... 3 packages delivered over 3 days despite the boxes being sent at the same time!

I'll be replacing the 245 Transforce (Came on the truck) with 275/70r17 Destination A/T's on Monday when I pick up the last 2 rims from the Drop off location.

That's it for now, happy Easter Weekend early!

Well, it happened! I was able to head over to Firestone and replace my rims and tires! Great people at my local Firestone and I love to work with them.
